Mission FlowBank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Geneva. This role demands a Swiss resident with expertise in Palo Alto, Huawei, Cisco, MPLS, AWS, Azure, and BGP technologies. You will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining our secure and efficient network infrastructure.
Responsibilities Network Architecture and Design:
Design and implement comprehensive network solutions that ensure scalability, robustness, and security
Leverage cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure to enhance network capabilities
Implementation and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Huawei, Cisco)
Ensure network performance and reliability through continuous monitoring and maintenance
Security and Compliance:
Administer security protocols on network devices to meet FlowBank's security standards
Perform periodic security audits and lead proactive network security enhancements
Advanced Networking:
Manage complex network configurations including MPLS and BGP for optimal routing and connectivity
Lead the transition and management of IPv6 infrastructure
Oversee DNS and other network services to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Project Management and Leadership:
Direct network-related projects, overseeing timelines, resources, and communications
Mentor junior network engineers and promote a collaborative team culture
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide expert-level support for escalated network issues
Conduct routine network system upgrades including patches, service packs, and security configurations
Profile
Swiss residency mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 7 years of professional experience in network engineering, with specific skills in Palo Alto, Huawei, Cisco, MPLS, AWS, Azure, and BGP.
Strong expertise in network security, DNS management, and IPv6.
Comprehensive understanding of network protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, OSPF, etc.
Experience leading significant network projects and guiding teams.
