Responsibilities	As a SQL Server DBA you are expected to: Monitor performance of database systems resources and query throughput (storage resources, backups, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics) Optimise SQL Code SQL Server Installation, Upgrades, Migrations and Configuration Install database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary Maintain database documentation as required Maintain and administer database security access Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores Trouble shoot and resolve database connectivity issues Configure and monitor AG Always ON As an ETL and Reporting Specialist you would be doing the following: Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages Develop and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports Monitor SQL Server Agent Jobs Help develop and maintain datasets for reports and dashboards
Skills & Qualifications		Solid knowledge and experience in SQL and T-SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers. Additional knowledge of MySQL and/or Postgres SQL a plus. Solid knowledge in SSIS, SSRS Solid knowledge and in database management such as creating databases, users, tables, indexes, partitions, etc. Knowledge of .net c# an asset Experience with Azure cloud or other cloud technologies is a plus Previous experience working in the banking, finance or accounting industry is a plus. Flexible – Deal with challenging & changeable requirements. Excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French.
