Senior Financial Accounting Expert

Duties

• Take part of the daily accounting process for the Bank and its subsidiaries
• Ensures the correctness of the accounting by providing technical input to the finance team
• Carries out the monthly consolidation of the financial Group
• Prepares annual accounts for all entities and the consolidated Group
• Ensures compliance with accounting related internal control policies
• Ensures timely filing of Tax returns (Corporate Tax, VAT...)
• Liaises with external auditors
• Works closely with IT Teams and operation to optimize tools and proc on an ongoing basis

• At least 7 years within the banking industry in a similar position
• University degree, ideally qualified accountant
• Pragmatic with a hands-on approach
• Experience in systems implementation a plus
• Experience in procedures and processes documentation
• Proactive and able to take initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Management
• Strong analytical and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel strongly recommended
• Strong command of French and English
