Corporate Action Agent

Purpose & Mission

Responsible for the processing of all transactions related to the custody of securities. This includes end-to-end operational processes for Corporate Action from announcement to event completion.


Main tasks:

  • Accurate and timely booking of corporate action transactions into accounting systems
  • Extraction of event notifications from agent banks and data vendors. Ensuring the information is accurate and received in a timely manner
  • Investigating and resolving all outstanding issues
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules (internal and external) in the service and bank
  • Management and treatment of pending transactions in collaboration with other services
  • Review operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Making sure procedures are updated and maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Assist management in the execution on non-ordinary operations


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Banking or commercial training (Swiss Federal Brevet as a minimum, bachelor’s degree an asset)
  • Previous working experience in a banking environment with exposure to Securities Operations
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of trading activities and financial products
  • Fluent in French and English, German a plus  
  • Strong communication skills, articulate key risk and challenge of daily processing to management
  • Proactive and able to take initiatives
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Management and adapt in a continuously changing environment
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Swiss domiciliation required
